Merry Christmas!
We had a wonderful WHITE Christmas. The kids like to sleep so it was no surprise we had to wake them up after 8am. I got some pictures after Santa came and during the craziness of the morning. I didn’t get pictures of the kids with all their stuff after they opened their presents from mom and dad and their grandparents. We needed to call Brad’s brother on his mission at 9am. We had to stop opening presents to do that. Then we resumed and finished opening. The kids got to go play in the snow. It was Matthew’s first time in snow. His favorite thing to do in the backyard is go down the slide. I had to laugh and grab the camera when I looked out there and saw he was climbing the ladder to go down the slide in the snow. He played for a while and then came inside saying “freezing”. Matthew got underwear and a potty seat to try to encourage him to start potty training. He tried on his undies and liked them very much. Then I got distracted and he peed in them. So I will wait for the kids to go back to school before I start talking to him about it. Brad got some computer equipment and took one of the computers out of the study and set it up on the kitchen desk. The kids and I are loving having our own area for a computer. Daddy is very territorial about his study and the kids in there getting in all his stuff. I went outside for just a second to catch a picture of Ali and Jackson trying out their new stuff. Ali’s scooter is FAST and I wasted prepared to see her take off down the street going 10 miles an hour. Kind of made me nervous. Jackson loves his new bike and has been waiting all year for a bigger bike. I love that we live in a cul-da-sac and the kids can ride in circles til their hearts content. We had a wonderful Christmas in our new home. I took a picture of the family room at the end of the day and it was still a mess. We finally cleaned it a little so we had a place to sit. I threw in a picture of the pantry door. It is 8 feet tall and covered in cards. I love all the Christmas cards we get. Even with blogs and facebook, there is something about getting cards in the mail that makes me happy.

I love getting cards as well! Let’s get the boys together once the kids are back in school. I noticed that Matthew got a Diego truck. so did Pierce. He’s obsessed with him. Let me know what days and times work for you. Maybe we can swamp houses.
